driver swing

relax arms. keep right arm extended back, don't allow it to collapse. goal is to maintain width. make sure club is square to line at setup. for me, this means driver clubhead looks slightly closed. swing in to out. keep right arm extended even after striking ball.

post bandon/ 1st lesson

short irons-turn chest to ball and let arms swing past. no hands/arms. chest driven swing. maintain chest/arm relationship, don't lash at ball long irons 4/5-turn chest through ball. swing club back shallow. no hands/arms. chest driven swing. maintain chest/arm relationship, don't lash at ball driver swing- swing in to out. remember to let clubhead pass hands. like snapping towel. don't let arms collapse in transition. keep right arm close to body, swing in to out. clubface slightly closed at setup is actually square to target line. maintain chest/arm relationship, don't lash at ball. try to hit push. driver swing is flat compared to iron swing. finish swing. no chicken wing.

driver swing

driver swing different than iron swing in both swings, i want right arm to stay relatively extend. driver swing is flatter. use body turn to control length of backswing. keep right arm extended through swing. During driver swing, use very little hip turn. keep head focused on pretend ball. make sure swing is not steep by throwing clubhead down. very active hands. finish backswing, then throw clubhead down right away. No hip turn. keep back to target. keep right arm extended through swing. FINISH SWING hybrids are like iron swing. FINISH SWING
